Preparation for Dental Emergencies

Medical emergencies can, and do, occur in the practice of dentistry. Part 1 of this two-part program reviews the steps in preparing the dental office to rapidly recognize and effectively manage those problems that do occur. We will discuss: basic life support, the office emergency team, emergency medical services, the basic emergency drug kit and the basic management protocol for all emergency situations. Part 2 (Course #F254) of this course will be offered on Friday afternoon.
